Afrobeats star Minz has just released his sultry new single ‘Ta Na’ on July 9, delivering a flirty, melodic record that dives deep into the sweet chaos of Lagos romance. Known for his smooth vocals and bold lyricism, Minz blends desire, humour, and Yoruba boy charm in a song that’s already heating dance floors, bedrooms, and timelines.
Driven by the hypnotic chorus ‘Ta na ta na ta na…’ and witty, food-inspired metaphors like ‘Panla… omo o dun bi ti panla’, Minz invites listeners into a world of impromptu love, DMs that escalate fast, and irresistible chemistry. With production steeped in Afro-fusion rhythm and sensual bounce, ‘Ta Na’ is the perfect soundtrack for anyone craving that intoxicating dose of sweet trouble.
The campaign surrounding ‘Ta Na’ is just as spicy, with TikTok challenges, #PanlaConfessions on X, and a real-life Panla Pop-Up in Lagos. The artist has also teased romantic audio snippets and hosted late-night Instagram Live sessions with fans, making this one of the most immersive Afrobeats rollouts of the year.
Already dubbed a potential song of the summer, Minz continues to cement his status as one of Afrobeats’ most exciting voices.
