The music industry has its stars, but behind every star is an army of people making sure the spotlight lands in the right place.
Osinachi “Nachii” Ibeh is one of them.
Her work sits where music, marketing and management meet, turning songs into campaigns, performances into experiences and promising careers into something audiences can remember.
Her route into the industry was anything but conventional.
During the pandemic, Ibeh found herself in music and PR group chats, sharing daily music and event updates.
Then she began volunteering at festivals and events.
By 2021, entertainment had become a professional path.
Digital marketing followed.
Then talent management.
The journey, she says, has been built around self-development and resilience.
She entered the industry at 19 as a road manager for producer Blackculture, according to TurnTable Charts’ 2025 Nigerian Music 30 Under 30 profile.
From there, her portfolio continued to expand.
She worked on digital campaigns for artists including Wande Coal, Wizkid, Joeboy, Victony, Shallipopi, AV, Famous Pluto and Zerry DL.
Her work also extended into business development.
The same profile credits her with securing a seven-figure US distribution deal for Kida Kudz, whom she also briefly managed.
By 2025, Ibeh was serving as Global Marketing Manager for Shallipopi and Plutomania Records, working with RCA and Sony Music.
She was also taking on the demanding role of Shallipopi’s Tour Manager.
That combination meant her work was no longer limited to promotion.
She was involved in the moving parts behind an international touring career.
Marketing campaigns had to connect with audiences.
Artists had to move between cities.
Shows had to happen.
Teams had to coordinate.
And the brand had to remain consistent across different markets.
But perhaps the clearest picture of Ibeh’s ambitions is found in what she is building for herself.
She founded PEEPS, a digital marketing agency with a seven-person team running campaigns in Nigeria and beyond.
It is another step in a career that has consistently moved towards creating opportunities rather than simply occupying existing ones.
Her story is still being written.
But the direction is becoming clearer.
Ibeh is building expertise across marketing, management and touring while creating a platform of her own.
And as the African music industry continues to expand, the people behind the campaigns, relationships and logistics will become increasingly important.
The artists may be the faces.
People like Nachii are helping build everything around them.
