Ace Enders Releases New Single “Wide Awake” Ahead of Posture Syndrome Album

Singer-songwriter Ace Enders has dropped his brand new single “Wide Awake”, now streaming everywhere. The track will appear on his upcoming album Posture Syndrome, set for release on October 31st via Pure Noise Records. Fans can pre-order the album here.

Finding Clarity in the Dark

Speaking about the inspiration behind “Wide Awake,” Enders explains:

“This song begins with sleepless nights, lying awake, restless, and anxious. I started to drink a lot heavier at this point in my life, not proud of it, but I guess needed it to write this.

The lyric replacing windows with bars, pretty much sums it up. That’s also the turning point, and as it unfolds, it shifts. Slowly, the darkness makes way for light, and the anxiety becomes anticipation. By the end, it’s no longer about being trapped by thoughts but about waking up wide awake with something to look forward to.”

The single captures Enders’ raw honesty, moving from a place of struggle to one of hope and anticipation.

Fall Tour With The Spill Canvas & Mae

This fall, Enders will join The Spill Canvas and Mae on select dates of the One Fell Swoop and The Everglow 20th Anniversary Tour. Tickets are already on sale at aceenders.com.

Who is Ace Enders?

For over two decades, Ace Enders has been one of the most consistent voices in alternative rock. As the main songwriter and frontman of The Early November, he penned classics like “Ever So Sweet” and “I Want To Hear You Sad”.

But Enders’ artistry extends beyond expectations. Through his solo project I Can Make A Mess and now simply under his own name, he’s pushed boundaries—writing more experimental, personal music from his own studio. His songs have even appeared in movie trailers such as Must Love Dogs.

Now, with Posture Syndrome, Enders continues that evolution, promising a record that’s both deeply personal and sonically adventurous.
