7 Types of Students You’ll Meet in Every Exam Hall (Which One Are You?)

Most schools in Nigeria are in that exam season, and you can feel the tension.

In the exam hall, you’ll meet all kinds of students, from the over-prepared to the last-minute crammer and each student adds a unique dynamic to the room.

This post explores the different types of students you’ll encounter in the exam hall, reflecting on the various behaviors, strategies, and quirks that define exam day.

(1) Extra Sheet:

You’ve not even finished answering one question, yet someone is already raising their hands and requesting an extra sheet 50 minutes into the exam.

Don’t allow them to pressure you, though. It might be that the font size of his handwriting is 90.

    (2)Beggar:

Borrow during the semester, then still borrow 20 minutes into the exam; this one is already begging for an extra pen.

    (3) The ill Ones:

Exam fever is one of the realest things ever. Your body would be okay all semester, until a couple of nights before the commencement of your exams.

Those down with some form of illness are always found in an exam hall.

    (4) Copy-Copy:

The first set depends totally on others for their entire examination. They are so annoying, as they constantly keep disturbing you to open your book for them.

After you do, you just have to pray they don’t copy your name and matric number because of how dumb some of them are.

    (5) CHEATER:

Similar to the ones above but slightly different, they don’t depend on anybody for answers.

They just pull up with a piece of paper, phones, or any other cheating material.

    (6) Late Comer:

The exam timetable would have come out a month ago; you’ve got the time, day, and venue, yet there is always that person who comes strolling in 5 minutes after the exam has started.

    (7) Formation Setters:

    If you know, you know.
