Born Angelica Opufo Adindu in Port Harcourt State, she grew up in the Southern Nigeria region. She moved to Lagos for her NYSC in 2018 and decided to make a name for herself in her new environment.
Her impressive covers caught the attention of the late Nigerian music legend Sound Sultan, who signed her to his label.
However, upon his passing, she became an independent artist and wants to remain that way for the foreseeable future.
Angelika Belle is a critically acclaimed artist with cult-hero standing in her home state, culminating in two nominations at the Galaxy Music Awards. She won the Best Alternative Song category in the 2022 edition.
