One of such unsung hero is the energetic; yet vibrant, Feyisola Ogunbanjo popularly known as Kulupsy.
For Kulupsy the beginning of her journey started at American University where she majored in computer science. But her heart laid in the world of music and entertainment. As a student, she displayed an entrepreneurial spirit and served as Vice President of the Campus Activities Board (CAB), handling shows and concerts with a passion that was impossible to ignore.
Her academic pursuits may have been rooted in technology, but it was clear where her real passion lay. She jumped head first into the Nigerian entertainment scene 2 months after graduation, while also working as a marketing executive at Trace TV. With her hard work and brilliant mind, before long she was a rising star in the industry. A fast learner, she soon moved up the ranks to become a project manager first and then became an experienced music & media executive wearing many hats simultaneously.
Kulupsy’s career is a testimony to her unwavering commitment and adaptability. She has worn different hats such as public relations and branding officer at Chop Life Crew, to creative director / on-air personality for the Pushing Good Music (PGM) Club. She currently serves as ODUMODUBLVCK project manager , Marketing Operations Lead at Native Records/Def Jam and also the CEO / Founder of Kulupsy Media Services.
Her current role is a declaration of the ample success she has had, however Kulupsy’s honor exists far beyond the titles she holds. A true hero of Nigerian youth culture, the nurturing and encouraging of young talent shaping much of what we now know about Nigeria’s most promising creatives. Her radiant heat also has innate tenacity; spanning general music, media and entertainment technology makes her a powerful force in the music biz.
