Perelade Dimanche stands as a passionate Talent, Event, and Tour Manager with over seven years of experience in artist development and management across various roles. For the past three years, she has dedicated herself to researching and developing innovative structures for local touring in Nigeria and across Africa, driving growth and opportunities in the region’s music industry.
Perelade’s path into talent and event management began unexpectedly in 2016 when she arrived in Nigeria. While in school, she had already dipped her toes into modeling and event hosting, sparking an interest in event management. Upon arriving in Nigeria, she immediately began volunteering for different events, starting with stage management.
Managing the stage meant managing the artists too, Perelade explains. Through this hands-on experience, she discovered her love for people management, which became the foundation of her career.
Interestingly, this wasn’t a career path she had envisioned for herself initially. She thought she might have been an actress or even an artist. It took a friend pointing out her natural talent for management before she considered turning it into a career. What truly drives her is what she describes as a talent for getting the best out of people.
Her journey into talent management happened organically alongside her event work. She had already gained experience in hosting, ushering, and even working as a PR representative for Hennessy during activations. While assisting her boss with artist management, she found herself drawn to both aspects of the industry simultaneously.
When asked about her inspiration, Perelade’s answer reveals her forward-thinking mindset: Her biggest inspiration is her optimism—seeing things grow from something small into something big. Being part of that process has been her biggest inspiration till now.
This optimism has guided her through various milestone projects. Timini Egbuson stands as the first major talent she managed, an experience she describes as an eye-opener that made her learn a lot. Her first significant project came during her MBA for Africa program, where she served as CEO of a simulated label, head of talent and head of events.
Before that, she had already organized Sabinus Live in Port Harcourt, a highly successful event that demonstrated her capabilities.
Among her proudest accomplishments is executing a sustainable tour across four Nigerian cities featuring underground and upcoming R&B artists—a venture that attracted impressive attendance despite working with emerging talents. This achievement speaks to her ability to build audiences around promising but not-yet-established artists.
During her MBA for Africa talent project, Perelade successfully managed ten talents simultaneously, showcasing her exceptional organizational skills and ability to handle multiple artistic personalities and needs concurrently.
Currently, Perelade works as a business manager for Sabinus and serves as the talent event strategist for the Bole Festival. She has also worked as a Talent Coordinator for Plugged Festival. This festival played host to Davido’s Timeless Tour, where Perelade acted as a liaison for all the talents, managing their activities and schedules for the duration of the program.
Looking ahead, Perelade is positioning herself at the forefront of building the structure of live music and talent development, with ambitions that extend beyond afrobeats to encompass all genres. Her vision for talent management involves working with diverse talents beyond just music and comedy.
In the events space, she aims to take artists on tour, travel the world, especially Africa, and create genuinely fan-engaging events that would make fans want to relive the experiences. She envisions developing a talent club or pipeline that could include talents from various fields, even expressing interest in possibly working with sports talents.
With several big and exciting projects and talents in the pipeline coming soon, Perelade Dimanche continues to shape the landscape of talent and event management across Africa, bringing her unique blend of optimism, vision, and practical expertise to an industry poised for global recognition.
