Ghanaian music powerhouse Wendy Shay has officially confirmed that her much-anticipated third studio album, “Ready,” will be released on October 24, 2025.
The announcement came after the award-winning Afropop and Afrobeats singer unveiled the album’s cover art on Friday night, October 10, across her social media pages. In her post, she described the project as a “new layer” to her journey, writing, “I present to you transformation, strength, value, and prosperity.”

Fans have been buzzing ever since, eager to see what Wendy Shay has in store. Although she has kept the tracklist and collaborations under wraps, her recent streak of singles, including “Psycho,” “Sapiosexual,” “Apology,” “Too Late 2.0,” and the newly released “Crazy Love”, sets high expectations for Ready, which is already shaping up to be one of the biggest releases of 2025.
Adding to the excitement, Wendy Shay also announced that her annual Shay Concert has been rescheduled to November 22, in honor of the late Charles Kwadwo Fosu (Daddy Lumba), one of Ghana’s most celebrated musical legends.

In her post, she wrote:
“NOTICE! In honor of the late, great Daddy Lumba, we’ve moved The Shay Concert to 22nd November 2025 to make way for his funeral as we pay our final respects to the Legend. Thank you all for your love, understanding, and support. #SHAYGANG.”
As the Ghanaian music industry prepares to celebrate and reflect, Wendy Shay hopes Ready will serve as both a statement of growth and a source of healing for her fans.
“Ready” drops worldwide on October 24, 2025, across all major streaming platforms.
